We're hiring a skilled CNC Press Brake / Punch Machine Operative to join a reputable manufacturing team in Willand, Devon. This is a permanent role offering competitive pay, consistent hours, and long-term stability.About the Role:As a CNC Operative, you'll be responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of CNC Press Brake and CNC Punch machines, ensuring high-quality fabrication of metal components. You'll play a vital role in the production process, working with a close-knit team to meet targets and maintain safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC Press Brake and/or CNC Punch machines safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and meet specifications.
  • Complete necessary production records and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience operating CNC Press Brake and/or CNC Punch machines.
  • Background in sheet metal fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Basic understanding of machine maintenance and fault-finding.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
