Senior P6 Planner – Major Infrastructure Project

Competitive Rate/Salary | Immediate Start PreferredA fantastic opportunity for a Senior P6 Planner to join a major UK infrastructure project, focusing on tunnelling, shafts, and microtunnelling. We're seeking a proactive planning expert with advanced Primavera P6 skills and strong experience in large-scale civil engineering works.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain integrated construction programmes in Primavera P6, covering all project phases.Resource- and cost-load schedules in line with the WBS, budgets, and forecasts.Track performance using earned value management (EVM); identify and address variances.Support progress valuations, forecasting, and reporting in collaboration with commercial and finance teams.Conduct critical path analysis, develop mitigation programmes, and assist with claims.Liaise with project teams and subcontractors to ensure programme accuracy and integrity.Deliver clear weekly/monthly updates and lookahead reports to senior leadership.Operate independently with strong problem-solving and critical thinking.RequirementsExtensive experience as a Primavera P6 Planner on major infrastructure projects.Proven skills in developing cost/resource-loaded programmes.Solid grasp of EVM, risk analysis, and progress tracking.Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with diverse teams.Full right to work in the UK; immediate or short notice availability preferred.PreferredDegree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
