Your new role
You will engage in a diverse array of legal tasks, both litigious and advisory, for our esteemed commercial clientele. Our clientele spectrum ranges from burgeoning start-ups to esteemed FTSE 250 listed entities. Your contributions will also extend to bolstering other segments of our London branch and the broader firm, particularly in corporate assistance and outsourcing endeavours.
The Employment division in our London office has established an impressive standing and boasts a history of managing numerous intricate employment litigations, with several cases bearing significant financial implications, spanning various industry sectors. What you'll need to succeed
The prospective individual for this position should hold a university degree or equivalent, complemented by A-level qualifications or their equivalent, and a pronounced passion for the field of employment law. They must exhibit superior capabilities in composing written materials and delivering presentations. As an independent initiator, the individual is expected to apply practical wisdom and proactive measures to their duties, while also collaborating seamlessly with colleagues on intricate projects.
The applicant must showcase exceptional abilities in managing time and documents, with a meticulous eye for detail. They should be adept at leading Employment Tribunal cases and managing these responsibilities with little oversight. Additionally, the individual should be competent in mentoring and providing support to less experienced legal practitioners, as well as in forging robust connections with current and prospective clients, as well as influencers. The applicant must also have excellent research competencies, including the utilisation of digital resources, outstanding interpersonal and collective skills, and the aptitude to engage with others, exert influence, and sway opinions. An avid interest in honing skills for client education is crucial, along with a comprehensive understanding of information technology.
