- Lead and grow a thriving community of Agile Testers with a shared commitment to enhancing testing strategies and driving product quality.
- Define and align the department's overall testing approach, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
- Identify quality-related skill gaps and coordinate upskilling opportunities through structured training programs.
- Host regular Test Community forums to exchange insights, tools, and best practices.
- Drive adoption of modern quality practices, such as exploratory testing, BDD, TDD, Three Amigos, and testability/observability principles.
- Advocate for defect prevention through proactive quality planning and close collaboration with engineering teams.
- Contribute to maturing Lean and Agile practices across the organization.
- Own and evolve QA tooling and frameworks, working closely with the Architecture Review Board (ARB).
- Collaborate with the Security team to ensure security testing is a core part of the QA strategy.
- Ensure test engineers actively engage in feature and story kickoffs, emphasizing early risk identification.
- Promote effective pairing between QA and software engineers to foster knowledge-sharing and build quality into every delivery.
- Maintain visibility of automated test results for relevant stakeholders and ensure clarity of test outcomes.
- Present testing risks to stakeholders in a timely and constructive manner.
- Own and evolve the end-to-end testing process, including regression and production validation.
- Define testing's role within the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Establish and monitor meaningful quality metrics that drive continuous improvement.
- Develop forward-looking test strategies that scale with emerging technologies and platform requirements.
- A strong background in leading QA functions and managing complex quality initiatives at scale.
- 7+ years in a quality leadership role, ideally within high-growth or agile technology organizations.
- Expert-level understanding of QA methodologies, best practices, and evolving industry standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across departments and drive a shared vision for quality.
