- Co-ordinate and prepare delivery and collection of freight information, ensuring all documentation is processed and completed on time and accurately whilst providing excellent customer service support.
- Co-ordination of collection and delivery of goods.
- Understanding Operational restrictions including management of transportation of sequenced stock and liaising with customer to ensure best possible customer service.
- When required, to ensure flexibility within the department to cover colleague's tasks during times of holidays & absence.
- Investigate routings for the Transport Plan for new or amended customers/destinations.
- Ensuring all administration is up to date and accurate.
- Transport experience in a Logistics / Supply Chain environment essential.
- Excellent knowledge of planning principles
- Good critical thinking skills
- Able to communicate at all levels, internally and externally
- IT Literate with knowledge of Excel, Tachomaster & Microlise.
