Company DescriptionThis is a 6-month Day Rate Contract Role (potential to extend), based in Belfast (3 days per week in the office) supporting one of our Financial Services Sector Clients.The Procurement Administrator will join the procurement function and be responsible for key parts of the end to end procurement processes including goods receipting, contract management processes and managing onboarding of new 3rd Party Suppliers on our Clients Finance system. The process includes validating and ensuring that all required steps are undertaken on a timely basis with supporting evidence and information captured.Job DescriptionThe Procurement Administrator will engage with key stakeholder across the business to identify and obtain necessary information to complete the identified tasks.Role Responsibilities:Manage goods receipting processesManage onboarding process of 3rd party suppliersValidate Due Diligence checks are undertaken and completed on a timely basisEngage business stakeholders to obtain required informationReview contract data and information and capture accurately in Contracts databaseUpload and store contractsCapture and track key information for procurement reportingManage and respond to ad hoc queries and tasksIdentify opportunities to improve systems and processesCommunication and LeadershipAbility to communicate effectively to both internal and external stakeholdersChange, Risk and Issue ManagementIdentify and escalate risks as appropriateIdentify tools and methodologies to improve the effectiveness of the procurement process.QualificationsExperience / Competences:Education/Professional QualificationsDegree educated or experience in a supply chain or procurement environmentProfessional CompetenciesDemonstrable experience in administration processesDemonstrable experience in stakeholder and supplier communicationTechnical Competencies
  • Technical knowledge in an area relevant to procurement
