- Develop and implement standard contract procedures globally and across the portfolio according to the team's overall strategic plan.
- Draft contracts and agreements in accordance with international standards to safeguard the company's interests.
- Conduct team training sessions to ensure that all contract and claims stakeholders have met their responsibilities and obligations.
- Develop a contract management detailed strategic plan aligned with the company policies, the stakeholders' requirements, and the overall strategic plan considering schedules, cost, scope, and risks.
- Ensure the earned value concept in all the contract management activities.
- Responsible for preparing and consolidating all the required documentation to manage claims and counterclaims in support of negotiations.
- Responsible for monitoring contract obligations and notifying the relevant parties in case of deviations.
- Review official correspondences to ensure alignment with the contractual obligations and commitments.
- Provide clear contractual analysis and advice to the organization on matters concerning contractual obligations, contract risk, and claim management.
- Collaborate in preparing the project closing report and summarizing lessons learned for feedback to the organization relevant to Contract Administration.
- Bachelor's degree in construction engineering or similar.
- Master's degree in construction law and arbitration or equivalent.
- 15 years of experience in contract and claims management combined with project management expertise.
- Proficiency in communicating on all issues concerning contractual agreements and amendments.
- Experience with construction management software and tools for efficient contract administration and claim management.
- Proficiency in international contract standards such as FIDIC, NEC, IChemE and other relevant standards.
- Expert in resolving disputes and conflicts that may arise during the project, employing mediation or alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Proficiency in English.
- Willingness to undertake business travels of approx. 30%.
