We collaborate with a diverse range of clients to manage property portfolios, projects, and transactions. Due to our continued success, we are seeking a talented Graduate Building Surveyor to join their multi-disciplinary consultancy in Cambridge.
The Role
As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will gain invaluable on-the-job learning experiences while working on prestigious projects and core building surveying instructions. The projects span a variety of sectors, including residential, educational, industrial, and commercial developments.
Their client base includes large retail companies, local authorities, schools, universities, contractors, and developers, providing exposure to a diverse and engaging portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
·Assist with contract administration, including attending meetings, writing specifications, procuring tenders, preparing contract documents, and conducting progress inspections.
·Undertake building surveys, recording and summarising findings concisely.
·Support the team on complex multi-disciplinary schemes.
·Assist with the analysis and reporting of building defects.
·Prepare schedules of dilapidations and negotiate settlements.What my client are looking looking For:
·A Bachelor's degree (2:2 or above) in a RICS-approved discipline.
