We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a leading Civil Engineering contractor and deliver civil engineering packages.The company are a well establish specialist contractor and market leaders in delivery of civils, roads, drainage and groundworks. Your role as Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for looking after the commercial aspects of the work on this major project. This would be based in the Worsley area.Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Maintain cost control procedures
- Budgets and Cash flow forecasts
- Effectively implement NEC contract
- Sub contractor management and payments
- Applications for payment
- CVR's
- Month end reportingExperience required for this Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Ideally worked in Civil Engineering / Groundworks projects
- NEC3 form of contract
- Experience working for a main contractor or specialist contractor
- Relevant qualifications e.g. DegreePackage & Information offered for this Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- £45k - £65k depending on experience
