That's Grant Thornton.Job Description:NEW GROUND WON’T BREAK ITSELF.We’re looking for someone who can help transform the way tax is delivered—by designing digital solutions that make life easier for our clients and our teams.As a Digital Tax Solution Architect, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of tax delivery. You’ll work across our Tax Technology and Automation team, collaborating with tax subject matter experts, project teams, and developers to build scalable solutions. These will span tools like Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and cloud automation platforms.You’ll combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of tax processes, helping bridge the gap between business needs and digital possibilities.A look into the roleAs part of the Digital Tax team, you will:
  • Design and deliver robust, scalable automation solutions to support digital tax transformation
  • Collaborate with tax teams to shape solution architecture using tools such as Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, and automation technologies
  • Drive adoption of automation and digital tooling to deliver process efficiency, quality, and insight
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver scalable, secure digital solutions using Azure and Power Platform
  • Define solution architecture aligned with business goals, data standards, and security best practices
  • Provide technical leadership to development team, and ensure high quality implementation
  • Collaborate with SME’s and stakeholders to align on goals, timelines and delivery plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, automate and innovate across our digital platform
  • Stay curious and contribute to embedding best practices and emerging technologies into our work.
Knowing you’re right for usJoining us as a Digital Tax Solution Architect, the minimum criteria you’ll need is
  • Proven experience working with Azure SQL databases (Managed Instances, PaaS, IaaS)
  • Strong understanding and implementation of Azure Security best practices
  • Hands on experience with Azure serverless technologies, including Batch, Functions, Logic Apps and Event Grid.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and frameworks such as ARM, Bicep, Terraform and PowerShell
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering Solution Architectures across cloud, hybrid and security landscapes
  • A track record in solving complex problems in scalable, creative ways.
  • Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • A proactive mindset, with curiosity for digital trends and emerging technologies.
