Vehicle Service Technician required in Plymouth
  • Starting salary £31,000 per annum depending on experience.
  • Guaranteed 5-day/42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 2 Saturdays and a day off in the week when you work a Saturday.
Our client, an automotive service centre/tyre retailer with multiple locations nationwide, is currently recruiting for an Vehicle Service Technician to join their busy centre in the Plymouth area.Reporting to the Centre Manager and working with a friendly workshop team, you will take responsibility for carrying out mechanical servicing and repair on a variety of cars and light vans. Assisting with the servicing and repair of vehicles in compliance with company procedure and Health & Safety regulations. You will ensure the work is carried out to a high standard in line with our client's customer journey and to portray a professional image.To be eligible for the Vehicle Service Technician Role:
  • You will need to have a UK driving licence with minimal points and be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as a minimum.
  • Ideally hold practical experience within another automotive workshop environment beyond your qualification.
  • Be a good team player with excellent communication skills, liaising with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop.
