We deliver expert palliative care to individuals with life-limiting and progressive illnesses, while also offering compassionate support to their families and carers.Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee the strategic development and operational management of our clinical, education and governance services. This pivotal role reports directly to the CEO and Board of Directors.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of clinical education and governance, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
  • Act as a visible and approachable presence within the Hospice, offering guidance and support to staff, patients, and families.
  • Collaborate with local and national healthcare partners to influence and advance palliative care services across the wider health and social care landscape.
  • Foster strong relationships with the local Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), contributing to the local palliative care strategy and upholding the service level agreement.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare legislation and standards, working closely with Health Improvement Scotland.
  • Play an active role in the Hospice's strategic direction as a member of the Senior Management Team.
