Closing Date: 15 September 2025The Role:As an Administration and Support Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our supportive Reablement Services team. Your primary responsibility will be assisting one of our Sensory Services Officers and their Guide Dog.What you'll do:
- Drive the Sensory Services Officer and their Guide Dog to and from work locations and appointments.
- Guide the Sensory Services Officer around offices, streets and in clients' homes.
- Assist with the care and exercise of the Sensory Services Officer's Guide Dog.
- Assist the Sensory Services Officer with reading all work related correspondence.
- Write reports and complete computer tasks to dictation on behalf of the Sensory Services Officer.
- Ability to guide the Sensory Services Officer and drive them and their Guide Dog to and from work and appointments.
- Ability to provide care for their Guide Dog.
- Good IT skills with MO365 experience (including Word, Outlook and Excel).
- Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Patience, compassion, and empathy in all interactions.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
