The students present with additional needs (autism, ADHD) and there are elements of trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
Consistency is key with these students.You must have experience working with children who display challenging behaviours, preferably with de-escalation training. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, understanding and keen to support young people who need that little bit extra. You must be confident working on a 1-1 basis and be comfortable dealing with students who may display more complex or challenging behaviours.Contract Details:

- Hours: 0830:1530 (during term time)
- Rate of pay: £95 – £105
- Type of work: Temporary
- Full time/part time: Full time only
- Start date: 01/09/2025
- Duration: Ongoing (Temp / Temp to Perm)
- Up to date Safeguarding training in the last year (can be provided if needed)
- Previous experience with Team Teach training, or willing to be trained in it
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is preferred
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
