We match our Care Professional to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our team in Leigh, United Kingdom. As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities
  • Keep accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the care coordinator
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Respond promptly to clients' needs and emergencies
  • Travel to various locations within Leigh and surrounding areas to provide care
  • We pay £12.00 per hour and £12.50 per on weekends DOUBLE on bank holidays we also pay 45p per mile.
Qualifications
  • Valid driving licence and access to a car (essential)
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and personal care
  • Empathetic and patient approach to caregiving
  • Basic understanding of home care practices and regulations
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and alternate weekends
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity
  • Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and training
