- Support our 'Safety First' culture promoting the use of the 'Just Culture' and maturity models.
- Actively support and participate in health, safety and wellbeing initiatives throughout the business.
- Lead on Ethical audits by pro-actively embedding best practice people initiatives within our business.
- Partner with Functional leaders to implement proactive strategies for enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Coach managers in all performance management issues, including the Impact Conversation process and capability matters.
- Use a variety of methods to coach and educate Managers on relevant Success Factor modules.
- Work with each Function to ensure we have fit for the future structures that are designed to achieve peak performance.
- Proactively collate and analyse people data to support the businesses and audits.
- Support with ER activities including grievances, disciplinary meetings, and wage negotiations when applicable.
- Work with line managers and Occupational Health to consistently manage absence.
- Maintain a current knowledge of HR best practice and employment law.
- Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders including the wider HR team and GRO People Services.
- Proactively engage and support the business with the delivery and actions of the Your Voice survey.
- Build strong relationships and provide excellent counsel to the wider leadership team.
- Recognise and reward great performance.
- Actively promote teamwork and information sharing across the site as well as the wider business.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent and CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above).
- Proven HR generalist experience, ideally within an FMCG environment, though this is not essential.
- A thorough understanding of the key principles of HR and how Business Partnering can add value to the business.
- Sound employment law knowledge is essential.
- Experience working with Trade Unions is advantageous
