We have 3,300 experts in the UK alone, could joining us be your next career move?Our Building Services division provides complete Facilities Management of properties throughout the UK, providing mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering and grounds maintenance on a planned and reactive basis, using technological solutions to manage our teams in the most efficient ways.We are looking for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join the Commercial Property Maintenance team on-site in East Central London.The purpose of the role will be to ensure that operational delivery performance is in line with contract obligations and the business processes. Services to be delivered with high levels of customer satisfaction and ensuring that all sites remain compliant.What you'll do:
  • Day to day servicing of the Mechanical & Electrical Infrastructure and the ability to carry out breakdown maintenance on Electrical systems and equipment
  • Be familiar with mechanical & electrical applications normally encountered within the contract.
  • Be aware of Safe Systems of Work and its application, performed under the terms of the contract.
  • Assist and/or deputise for the Site Supervisor when required
  • Take control of any works requested by the Site Supervisor through to completion.
  • Attend reactive calls and complete.
  • Complete PPMs within stated time frames
  • Assist all client in adhoc tasks.
  • Have a full understanding of all plant and system
  • Cover shift from 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am.
What you'll bring to the role:
  • City & Guild level 2 minimum / NVQ level 3 minimum
  • Engineering position held previously within the service industry
  • Experience of client relationships
  • Knowledge of control systems
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems
  • IEE 17th Edition
  • IOSH Working Safely minimum
