Job PurposeAs an Account Development Manager, your will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth for a selection of our existing top IP clients.   • Identify and pursue upsell opportunities within existing accounts for Search, Foreign Filing + Translations, Renewals, and additional IP services to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain an active sales pipeline. Keep CRM (Salesforce) up to date with all client interactions and opportunity updates.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business goals, pain points and challenges to allow you to identify growth opportunities within the account.
  • Collaborate with operational, sales and marketing teams to propose tailored solutions and implement effective strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients to retain their business and promote growth opportunities.
  • Work with our internal Legal and Pricing Operations teams to handle contract renewals, pricing negotiations and service-level agreements to prevent churn, enhance client loyalty and create retention within existing accounts.
  • Identify and refer cross-sell opportunities to colleagues in other RWS Business Units.
  • Travel: There will be elements of travel for this role with Account Development Managers visiting clients and attending Sales events.

  • Proven experience in account management, business development, or sales.

  • Familiarity with CRM software and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently, to organize your time and achieve quotas.

  • Ability to learn new products and services.
  • Previous experience working within Intellectual Property.
