The Accounts Receivable Assistant will focus on managing incoming payments and maintaining financial records with precision. This temporary position is ideal for candidates with a background in accounting and finance who are comfortable with picking up the phone and communicating with individuals at all levels.Please note that this role is office based and is part-time (25-30 hours a week).
  • Process and record incoming payments accurately into the accounting system
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment collections
  • Prepare and distribute invoices and account statements to clients
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently
  • Assist with month-end reconciliation for accounts receivable
  • Maintain detailed and organised financial records for audits
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and account statuses
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and reporting
  • Answering incoming queries over phone/email
