- Ensure effective communication between the design team, DCO Management Team, and other project teams.
- Support community engagement events with the STEP Communications Team.
- Maintain a log to manage all project interfaces and actions.
- Monitor and update the DCO Activity Plan with the DCO Lead.
- Identify and address deviations from the plan.
- Prepare regular status reports for management.
- Identify and manage risks to achieving the DCO award.
- Maintain a risk register and work with the Project Risk Team.
- Support planning applications for developments under TCPA.
- Coordinate with planning agents to ensure successful applications.
- Manage interfaces between TCPA and DCO applications.
- A university graduate, or equivalent experience, in a STEM or relevant subject.
- Ability to take responsibility for action plans and working in a proactive manner, with minimal supervision to identify and meet project needs.
- Ability to work with different functional and operative teams and to achieve cross-functional solutions to project needs.
- Knowledge and/ or experience of planning processes under the Town & Country Planning Act, and/or Development Consent Order regulations.
- Basic project management skills, such as planning, monitoring progress, risk management, contract management
- Has, or is working towards, membership of RTPI or similar.
- Experience of writing technical narratives for planning applications
- Has participated in community and regulator consultations as part of planning processes.
- Has participated in application evaluations, engaging with local planning authorities and/or PINS.
