We’re proud of our low staff turnover and long employee tenures, which reflect the positive experience of working at Croudace.Site ManagerWe have a position available for a Site Manager to join our site teams based in Twyford, Berkshire working on a development that comprising of timber frame traditional build houses.What you’ll be doing:
  • Foster a positive and productive working relationship with all those who come into contact with the site. Deal with customers, visitors, the public and Company staff in a courteous manner to promote a good image of the Company.
  • Prepare and present to the Building Director a detailed analysis carried out during a pre-planning process on the full concept of each new project, covering all aspects of safety, quality, presentation, sales and cost.
  • Carry out weekly Safety Inspections to ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Monitor and check setting out carried out by subcontractors to ensure accuracy prior to commencement of building and as required during construction.
  • Assist with training of any staff under your responsibility.
  • Assist Surveyor with ongoing and final account preparations.
  • Ensure roads, drainage, open space, etc. are completed and put into maintenance before leaving the site.
Skills & knowledge you’ll bring:Proven experience of working within the Residential property or house builder sector experienceExperience and knowledge of traditional build and timber frame structuresHold a professional or technical Building qualification or degreeIdeally, MCIOB qualified or working towardsStrong experience and knowledge of building regulations, health & safety legislation, NHBC standards and other required building standardsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with all levels of staff and clientsAbility to manage subcontractors and site operatives effectivelyWhy join Croudace?At Croudace Homes, we believe our people are our greatest asset—and we’re committed to rewarding and supporting them.
