Leading UK Contractor (Kent)Bracken Recruitment are currently recruiting a number of experienced Quantity Surveyors for one of our clients covering utilities contracts in the Kent region.
Our Client is a multi-disciplined Engineering Contractor delivering projects that are time and safety critical within the Utilities sector.
The client offers clear career progression and a fantastic working environment.This position would suit someone from a Civil Engineering background and with previous experience within the utilities sector.
The successful candidate will be one of the lead Quantity Surveyors on this prestigious projectSkills & Experience:
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge within Civil Engineering – especially within the utilities sector
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Experience using the NEC form of contract
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook and Excel
- Strong time management skills
- Hard working and ambitious
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or the equivalent)
