PermanentWe are seeking a highly motivated Systems & Data Manager to lead the development and delivery of high-quality information and digital solutions that support our clients Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC) Department. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency, cost savings, and data-driven decision making to enhance service quality across the organisation.The P&SC Department works collaboratively to provide essential services to internal stakeholders. You will oversee the Procurement Systems team, manage critical data flows, and develop innovative reporting and analytics tools, ensuring the department meets its statutory and contractual obligations.This is a key leadership role in an area of ongoing growth, offering the opportunity to shape the department’s digital strategy, champion data quality, and implement cutting-edge business intelligence solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy
- Lead and develop the P&SC Systems & Data team, including recruitment, workload planning, and performance management.
- Shape and deliver the department’s digital transformation and analytics strategy in line with the P&SC improvement plan.
- Champion a positive data quality culture, ensuring consistent and reliable information across all systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and self-service reports to empower procurement teams with actionable insights.
- Manage data from multiple systems, ensuring integrity, consistency, and accessibility.
- Provide statistical analysis, modelling, and KPI reporting (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) to support decision-making.
- Drive the development of a data warehouse and ensure it remains accurate and up to date.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of all procurement systems, including Atamis, Ingenica 360, PAM, GHX, NEP, and associated platforms.
- Act as system superuser, managing upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with IT and system providers to improve functionality and resolve complex issues.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and deliver tailored reporting solutions.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders in data interpretation and system use.
- Serve as a trusted adviser on how digital tools and analytics can enhance procurement and supply chain performance.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance digital capability and streamline processes.
- Stay informed on emerging BI tools, data management best practices, and system innovations.
- Lead change initiatives, from scoping through to implementation and evaluation.
- Proven leadership experience within a data, systems, or BI function.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience managing business-critical systems and data assets.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise competing demands, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, or healthcare environments.
- Knowledge of procurement systems such as Atamis, Ingenica, GHX, NEP, and PAM.
