
Specification Sales Manager - Commercial Flooring

- Specification field sales role selling high quality, natural, negative carbon balance flooring and niche modular carpets
- Predominantly focusing on winning project specifications with architects and interior designers (London A&D community)
- Remainder of time converting orders via flooring contractors
- Targeting the commercial, healthcare and education sectors
- Delivering CPD presentations, “lunch & learns”, product updates and other events promoting our clients' product portfolio
- Inheriting an active project bank of prospective projects worth circa £750,000
- Tasked with achieving £500,000 revenue in year One
- Projects from £5,000 to £50,000+
- Opportunity only available due to an upcoming retirement
- Working as the only dedicated field sales representative
- A proven track record of specification field sales with architects and interior designers A&D
- Flooring field sales experience preferred but not essential, all interior building products will be considered
- Technically competent
- Autonomous self-starter
- CPD presentation experience
- Would suit 2-3 years specification field sales experience looking for next step up in career
- Ability to cope will vast product portfolio
- Ability to handle projects from inception right through to completion
- Fabric, wall coverings, flooring, partitioning, ceilings and other aesthetically pleasing interior products of interest
- Understanding of design, flair and creativity
- IT literate
- Specification sales driven not contractor/ distributor led
