We enable your best to power our future.Job DescriptionDue to our continued growth, we are looking for a ‘Consultant’ to support our International Consulting practice in helping clients from the sports and entertainment business find the right answers to any type of commercial challenge.The position holder will work on projects in the UK & Ireland and on an international level, in close collaboration with other consultants and the commercial team across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. This position will be a great fit for a committed, responsible and collaborative individual with an understanding and appreciation of the UK & Ireland sports business. They should also have a passion for strategic planning, data analysis, and its application in consulting, and a commitment to do top-class management consulting work.If an exciting career working closely with many of the world’s largest sports & entertainment rights holders, brands, agencies, and broadcasters sounds exciting, this could be the role for you.The role will be based in London; we encourage everyone to work from there to learn from and connect with colleagues for 2 days a week.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with colleagues in the consulting team to jointly deliver high-quality work to our clients on various projects related to rights holders’ commercial strategies, media rights, fan development, and brands’ sponsorship planningConduct independent analysis of internal and external data sets, drawing out insights and producing recommendations and strategiesDeveloping and delivering compelling presentations to effectively communicate project results to clients and key stakeholdersLead or contribute to project teams, ensuring the successful execution of consulting engagements. Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables. Monitor progress and manage client expectations.Develop strong client relationships – we are a non-hierarchical team and believe in all consultants engaging regularly with our clientsBecome a trusted advisor and collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and needs.Keep up to date with trends in the sports and entertainment industriesUse Nielsen’s broad range of learning and development resources to further your commercial expertiseSupport team planning and process managementQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, sports management, marketing, or related fieldsPrevious experience as a strategy & management consultant at a top consulting firm is idealStrong communication and project management skills, with proven experience of delivering projectsAbility to think creatively, and strategically as well as apply data to problem-solveMicrosoft Office skills, particularly Powerpoint and ExcelFluency in English (written and spoken)A passion for sport, and an interest in the commercial business of sportAdditional Information#LI-KS1Please be aware that job-seekers may be at risk of targeting by scammers seeking personal data or money.
