Teaching Assistant - Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Support Location: East London Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-time, long-term Axcis Education is seeking a resilient and empathetic Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a secondary school in East London. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about pastoral support and creating a safe learning environment. The Role Support students with SEMH needs on a one-to-one and small group basis. Help manage behaviour using positive strategies and de-escalation techniques. Build trusting relationships that encourage engagement in learning. Work closely with pastoral staff and SENCOs to support student wellbeing. Requirements Previous experience supporting young people with SEMH needs is advantageous.
