
SEN Teaching Assistant

- Tailored Student Support: You'll work with students one-on-one or in small groups to help them understand topics, finish tasks, and navigate their educational journey.
- Classroom Assistance: You'll collaborate with the teacher to deliver lessons, prepare materials, and help create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encouraging Growth: You'll mentor students and help them build important social, emotional, and self-regulation skills.
- Tracking Progress: You'll provide valuable feedback on student progress to help inform and adjust support strategies.
- The legal right to work in the UK and a valid Child DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one).
- Empathy: The ability to connect with students and stay calm and supportive, especially during difficult moments.
- A "Can-Do" Attitude: You're proactive and able to take initiative, anticipate needs, and find creative solutions.
- Strong Communication: You can communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents and work well as part of a friendly team.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school or with SEN, is highly desirable.
