You'll work with pupils in KS1 and KS2 who have Autism, providing tailored 1:1 support and leading small group sessions to develop communication, social skills, and confidence. You'll also assist with transitions, sensory strategies, and classroom tasks to help pupils access the full curriculum.This is a varied, hands-on role that will give you valuable experience with SEND practice and inclusive teaching.The Candidate
You'll need a degree and a calm, compassionate nature. Experience working with children with SEN-whether in schools, care, or voluntary roles-is desirable but not essential. You'll receive training and support to develop your confidence and skills on the job.The School
