
Procurement Technician

- Creating and tracking supplier orders (validating prices and delivery dates).
- Following up with suppliers.
- Handling administrative tasks related to procurement and replenishment (sorting documents, data entry, etc).
- Negotiating returns with suppliers.
- Participating in the management of purchasing department performance indicators.
- Consolidating purchases of certain raw materials.
- Engaging in strategic and ongoing negotiations with suppliers.
- Collaborating closely with internal clients.
- Continuously seeking new products and / or new suppliers.
- Managing accounts payable.
- Maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with the company's procurement policies and guidelines.
- Sourcing new suppliers.
- Any other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by your manager.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of ERP and MRP systems, in particular MD365.
- Proficient in using Microsoft office suite.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly developed analytical, research, and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently, with strong teamwork skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Capability to manage priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Skilled in negotiation.

- Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
