Rate: £24 per hour (for the first 38 hours)Overtime & Weekend Pay Rates:Overtime (beyond 38 hours & Saturday morning): £36 per hour (1.5x)Double Time (Saturday afternoon & Sunday): £48 per hour (2x)Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team involved in modular plant room construction. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with strong expertise in pipework installation, pump fitting, and valve assembly within industrial or modular building projects.Primary Responsibilities:
- Install pipework systems, valves, and pumps in modular plant rooms
- Follow technical drawings and isometric diagrams precisely
- Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with fabricators, welders, and electricians on-site
- Proven experience in pipefitting, including pipework, valves, and pumps
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and technical drawings
- Skilled in using hand and power tools for pipe assembly
- Previous experience in modular build environments or industrial/mechanical settings
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar (preferred)
- Valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety certification
