This is a unique opportunity for a professional with a commercial background to broaden their technical expertise across programme performance and cost control.You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting high-value infrastructure delivery and developing advanced skills in programme performance and controls. This role is ideal for someone with a background in procurement, contract management, or client-side delivery who is ready to evolve their career in a more strategic direction.Job Objectives
- Take ownership of cost and performance management across major infrastructure programmes
- Translate commercial insights into actionable cost control strategies
- Collaborate with planners, commercial teams, and client stakeholders to ensure financial transparency
- Build capability in project controls tools, systems, and methodologies
- Support the wider consultancy team in delivering high-quality, data-driven insights to clients
- Experience in commercial management, quantity surveying, or procurement within infrastructure
- Strong financial awareness and interest in data-driven decision-making, including tools such as Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Familiarity with infrastructure contracts (e.g., NEC)
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively
- A collaborative mindset with a desire to expand technical capabilities
- Experience working in a team environment and managing variable workloads
- Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and client representatives
- A sense of professional curiosity and a drive to improve project outcomes through better insight and control
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline
