Assembly Operative(Urgent)LutonMon-FriPermanent job26500 per annumTraining givenWe are a World leading design and engineering company based in Luton, developing high performance car intake systems.We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to complete customer orders by assembling, inspecting, and packing automotive components. This is a permanent position. The parts are mainly for car intake systems so the parts include air filters and carbon fibre pieces.*Training is provided on the job. However, some experience and knowledge of basic hand tools is essential. *Duties: * Normal duties include assembling carbon fibre parts to build car intake systems and packing them ready for shipping.Determines assembly requirements by studying customer order specifications.
  • Prepares for assembly by checking inventory, gathering supplies, components, and special items.
  • Assembles product by fitting and adjusting components, installing fasteners.
  • Approves product by completing quality inspection.
  • Forwards product by packing assembly in carton; labelling carton; forwarding carton to shipping.
  • Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and clean work environment by following standards and procedures.
