– Lead assessments and coordinate interventions to safeguard vulnerable adults or children, ensuring risk levels are correctly assessed and that appropriate resources are allocated efficiently.
– Work closely with partner agencies such as police, health services, and education to share information and coordinate safeguarding efforts.
– Ensure strict compliance with safeguarding legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
– Manage team workloads, allocate cases, and handle a caseload of complex situations, ensuring timely, high-quality report writing and record keeping.
– Contribute to staff development by identifying training needs, conducting inductions, and fostering a learning culture within the team.
– Act as a senior representative, chairing multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to practice development.
