Responsibilities:
  • Providing teaching assistance as per the teacher's weekly/daily/seasonal plans
  • Working one-on-one with students
  • Conducting group and/or individual activities as directed by the teacher
  • Supporting students' overall well-being within the school's framework
  • Monitoring and evaluating student learning under teacher guidance
  • Assisting teachers in implementing effective management strategies for conducive teaching and learning environments
  • Supporting students in their structured curriculum work across various subjects
Requirements:
  • Ability to work with students facing diverse learning challenges
  • Understanding of students with special needs
  • Willingness to foster relationships and learning with students
  • Confidence in leading groups across different educational subjects
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualifications
  • Flexibility in approach to education
  • Desirable experience in working within SEND settings
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one
