
SEN Teaching Assistant

Working closely with class teachers and therapists, SEN Teaching Assistants support students aged 5–19 with a range of needs, including autism, social, emotional and mental health challenges, and complex learning difficulties. The role involves assisting with classroom activities, promoting independence, and helping pupils reach their full potential through a personalised curriculum.Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Right to work in the UK (this school group cannot offer sponsorship)
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
