This is an exciting role for our client who are a National Highways approved contractor and working across various highways areas on civils and drainage generally as a subcontractor. This role will be reporting to the Operations Manager and is a crucial role within the business.The Role:
  • Manage existing contracts for National Highways and other clients
  • Manage the teams on site and work closely with main contractors
  • Overall responsibility for projects, budgets and health & safety
  • Chair management and progress meetings
  • Some travel required across the North due to the nature of contracts around the highways area network
  • Work will be from home, from the office, from site and from National Highways offices at various times
The CandidateThe ideal candidate we are looking for would have the following attributes:
  • Extensive experience with National Highways contracts
  • Extensive experience within civils and drainage
  • Stong background in Contracts Management
  • Excellent knowledge of contracts, commercial awareness, ability to manage a large and moving workload
  • Willingness to travel where required
