
Finance Manager - Strategic Initiatives

- Working with colleagues of a senior level to drive the operational performance of evoke's strategic initiatives, primarily Customer Lifecycle Management, Operations 2.0 (AI & IA) and Customer Value Proposition, alongside other material initiatives.
- Preparation of monthly strategic initiative profit and trend reports for the Group FP&A team, commercial finance leads, senior leadership team and the board and presenting financial information on a monthly basis to the steerco, which includes the CEO, CFO, CCO and all other Exco members
- Working closely with the One Company Progamme Office Director and their team of programme managers to help monitor and manage the strategic initiatives, ensuring components are delivered on time and aligned to financial plans
- Liaising closely with the Director of Commercial and Customer Analytics and his Business Analytics team to ensure the strategic initiative values are supported by specific data which is measurable where possible
- Working with the Head of Financial Customer Operations to ensure any associated overheads costs and capital expenditure of the strategic initiatives are correctly reported and forecasted at an appropriate level.
- Collaborating with divisional finance teams to understand and appreciate the performance/variances of the initiatives on the commercial P&L's/profit plan
- Driving improvements/recommendations to process & reports/analysis where appropriate and challenging the status quo to help build efficiency and improvements to processes
- Support all internal and external audit activities through the provision of required documentation when necessary
- Accountancy qualified ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA ) with post qualified experience working in commercial teams with business partnering experience, preferably with betting / gaming industry experience
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate well with internal stakeholders with advanced business acumen and the ability to understand and align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills you'll be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy you'll have the ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
