
Commercial Finance Manager

- Act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Analyse and challenge commercial plans, pricing models, promotions, and customer profitability.
- Support contract negotiations with key retail and foodservice customers.
- Provide margin analysis by channel, customer, and product line.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and monthly rolling forecasts.
- Develop financial models to support new product development and investment cases.
- Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to drive performance.
- Prepare and deliver commercial performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in reporting tools and processes to ensure accurate, timely data.
- Support monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
- Oversee consolidation of commercial data across all three business units.
- Ensure consistency and alignment of financial reporting structures and systems.
- Lead or support strategic initiatives such as channel development, M&A analysis, or ERP implementation.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditure proposals.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a Commercial Finance or FP&A role within FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of retail and/or foodservice commercial models.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate data into insight.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) desirable.
- Experience working in a multi-entity or group structure preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence at all levels.
- Commercially astute and highly proactive.

- A highly competitive salary of between £65 - 85k P/A.
