Our client, an electro-mechanical manufacturing business, seek to appoint a Project Engineer to their engineering team. As Project Engineer you will profitably engineer, procure and manage Electrical and Mechanical Site Projects from receipt of order through to invoice and completion. This includes signing off basic CAD drawings, site visits, basic procurement, organising upwards of 15 projects at any one time and administrative engineering support. Acting as the middle man you will ensure multiple concurrent projects are completed on time and in full.   • Interpreting prospective customer requirements, when required, and the estimating of costs to meet those requirements, together with offering any beneficial alternatives. Liaising with Sales to ensure adequate information is available for compiling estimates
  • Compile detailed BOMs and project relevant documentation (RAMS, weekly reports, test certs, quotations, etc)
  • Survey and measurement of site equipment, typically valves, actuators, pipe work and associated controls on customer sites across multiple industries, including where necessary removal of existing equipment to enable access to obtain detail required to design adaption components
  • Source, order and expedite material, tools and equipment for contracts ensuring that time-scales and budgets are met
  • Compile Mechanical designs comprising of component drawings and general arrangements in line with project specifications

  • Experience within project management
  • Previous experience working with flow control equipment: valves, pumps, pipework, control systems, etc would be preferred but not essential
  • At least two years' experience ensuring products and applications are designed and manufactured to comply with the relevant standards and integrity required by the application of the markets for which they were intended
  • Site experience including installation and commissioning
