- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for clients within the farming and estates sector.
- Provide tailored advice on financial and tax planning for agricultural businesses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their unique business needs.
- Support clients with compliance matters, including VAT, payroll, and capital allowances.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in client operations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of professional services.
- Assist in mentoring junior staff and sharing expertise within the department.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation affecting the farming and estates industry.
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Experience in accounting and tax services, ideally within the agricultural or farming sector.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
- Familiarity with relevant accounting software and tools.
