The role is responsible for maintaining and developing our programme methodology and toolkit, ensuring all strategic and functional priorities are effectively tracked, monitored, and reported.In addition, the role will act as Project Manager for a small portfolio of People Services projects, with a focus on technology and process improvement initiatives. Alongside programme oversight, the role will contribute to analysing and re-designing People Services processes and systems to create more efficient and user-friendly ways of working across the Group.This is Your CityAs part of our team, you will be entitled to 26 days annual leave plus an additional day off for your birthday, private healthcare and a simply health cash plan, an annual discretionary bonus, plus a range of partnership and lifestyle discounts.Your ImpactProgramme Methodology & Tools
  • Create, maintain, and develop People programme tools, templates, and guidance to ensure projects are managed consistently and effectively.
  • Monitor and report on programme progress, risks, and dependencies to enable clear decision-making.
Project Leadership & Guidance
  • Act as Project Manager on a portfolio of technology and process-based People Services projects, delivering them on time, on scope, and on budget.
  • Guide and mentor People team colleagues who are leading strategic projects, providing practical support and advice on programme management best practice.
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Prepare monthly programme updates for the People Leadership Team and other senior stakeholders, ensuring visibility of roadmap health and progress.
  • Support the Director of People Services in governance processes to ensure alignment across the People roadmap.
Process & Systems Analysis
  • Work with the People Services team to analyse processes, systems, and ways of working, assessing their efficiency and impact on employee experience.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and design streamlined solutions, leveraging technology and automation where possible.
What we are looking for
  • Demonstrated experience in programme or project management, preferably within HR, People Services, or related functions.
  • Strong ability to create and manage programme management frameworks, tools, and reporting.
  • Skilled in process analysis and improvement.
  • Confident communicator, able to work with stakeholders at all levels and build strong collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and delivery.
  • Comfortable working in an environment of change and ambiguity.
