
Fire Safety Officer

- Conduct Fire Risk Assessments: Evaluate buildings, equipment, and procedures to identify fire hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and Implement Fire Safety Plans: Create and maintain fire safety procedures, emergency response plans, and fire safety policies.
- Provide Training and Awareness: Deliver fire safety training to staff, including fire extinguisher use, evacuation drills, and general fire awareness.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Monitor adherence to fire safety legislation and health and safety regulations.
- Inspect and Maintain Fire Safety Equipment: Regularly check fire alarms, extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other safety systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Experience in undertaking Fire Safety Risk Assessments
- Fire Safety Risk Assessment Certificate
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Preferably working towards CFPA Diploma in Fire Prevention, Diploma in Fire Safety or Diploma In Fire Science and Fire Safety
