Start Date: 1st October
Salary: £25–£35 per hour
Working Hours: 21 hours over 2 days initially, with scope to pick up an additional 10.5 hours (1 day) for the right candidateJob OverviewWe are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Podiatrist to join a dynamic healthcare team in Bedford. This role is ideal for a candidate with some experience in the field—please note that newly qualified graduates will not be considered. The successful applicant will provide high-quality podiatric care across a varied caseload, contributing to the wellbeing and mobility of patients in the community.This is a part-time opportunity with potential to increase hours based on performance and service needs. You’ll be working in a supportive environment with access to professional development and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
  • Deliver podiatric assessments and treatments for a range of foot and lower limb conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.
  • Contribute to service development and patient education initiatives.
  • Provide care in both clinic and community settings as required.
Qualifications and ExperienceTo be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A recognised degree in Podiatry.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrable experience in podiatric practice (new graduates will not be considered).
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development.
