Resident Senior Quality EngineerWe are currently looking to recruit an experienced Resident Senior Quality Engineer for an exciting new opportunity working in the Halewood area of Liverpool.The Resident Senior Quality Engineer in this role will be based at an automotive first tier manufacturers site and will be the first point of contact for the customer on reported engineering commodity concerns, feeding information back to the second-tier supplier.The resident engineer will be responsible for preliminary investigation of suspect products reported at customer locations, implementing containment activity and communicating engineering concerns to the supplier manufacturing and engineering departments.The resident engineer will minimize the impact of quality issues at the customer sites through immediate product containment; requalify the suspect components and the coordination of corrective actions.In addition, the Resident Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for the supervision of new program trials and launch of serial production for new programs.Applicants should have previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry, be able to communicate at all levels and be familiar with problem solving and 8D methodology.In return the Resident Engineer in this role will be offered a rate of up to £35.00 per hr Ltd Company dependent on Experience and Qualifications.We are specialist service providers to the vehicle manufacturing industry and their supply chains and this is an excellent opportunity to join our team.All applications are treated in the strictest of confidence.RequirementsApplicants should have previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry, be able to communicate at all levels and be familiar with problem solving and 8D methodology.BenefitsExcellent Working FacilitiesA Pay Rate of up to £35.00 per hour Ltd Company Contractor dependent on experienceFree on-site parking
