With its Outstanding Ofsted rating, the school offers excellent opportunities for joyful and engaging learning experiences.The role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students across different year groups. You will assist in delivering engaging lessons, help manage classroom behaviour, and provide one-to-one or small group support to ensure every child reaches their potential.Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide classroom support to teachers, ensuring lessons run smoothly.
  • Assist students in understanding lesson content and staying engaged with tasks.
  • Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to support learning and progress.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with their social and emotional needs to enhance wellbeing.
  • Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
  • Supervise students during non-classroom times such as breaks or trips.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to track student progress and provide feedback.
Skills & Requirements:
  • CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support young learners.
  • A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
