This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving the people strategy across a major UK division.You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team and lead a team of HR Business Partners to deliver a high-performing, commercially focused HR service – one that empowers leaders, enables growth, and fosters a values-led culture for thousands of colleagues.It’s a brilliant fit for someone confident in both the strategic and operational space, who thrives on complexity, pace, and purpose.What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead the divisional people strategy, aligning HR priorities to operational and commercial goals
  • Partner with senior leadership to influence culture, capability, and performance
  • Manage and mentor a team of HR Business Partners across multiple sites
  • Act as a key advisor on complex ER issues, policy, and employment law
  • Translate people data into meaningful insight and decision-making
  • Support transformation projects and cross-functional initiatives
Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong strategic relationships across the divisional leadership team
  • Lead delivery of operational HR across a multi-site, regulated environment
  • Champion cultural alignment, engagement, and high performance
  • Oversee talent planning, succession, and workforce capability
  • Guide the people aspects of change initiatives including TUPE and restructures
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and best practice
  • Report divisional KPIs and workforce trends to executive leadership

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Senior HR leadership experience in health, social care, or another complex, multi-site sector
  • Strong employment law knowledge and confident ER capability
  • Experience managing and developing regional HR teams
  • Strategic mindset with operational agility
  • Ability to manage change, including TUPE and restructures
  • Commercial acumen with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent
Travel RequirementsThis is a hybrid role with national travel required (typically 2–3 days per week).
