Following the award of a major new contract, we are seeking three HGV Class 2 Tanker Drivers to join a growing team. This is a secure, long-term role offering excellent earning potential with overtime, call-outs, and occasional weekend work, alongside genuine career progression.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate vacuum/combi tankers for the collection and disposal of wastewater, sewage, and sludgeCarry out loading and unloading operations at customer sites and disposal facilitiesComplete daily vehicle checks, ensuring full compliance with VOSA and company standardsMaintain accurate service logs, waste transfer notes, and delivery ticketsProvide a professional and customer-focused service to both domestic and commercial clientsAdhere to all Health & Safety and environmental regulationsWhat We’re Looking ForFull UK Driving Licence – Category C (Class 2 HGV essential)Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph CardExperience with vacuum tankers or wastewater operations (desirable – training provided)Strong awareness of Health & Safety and compliance standardsFlexible and reliable – able to support weekend and out-of-hours work where requiredPhysically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasksWhat’s On Offer£37,000 basic salaryOTE £55,000+ with overtime, call-outs, and weekend workEnhanced overtime ratesCompany pension schemeFull PPE and uniform providedOngoing training and development28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)Genuine career progression opportunitiesThis role is being handled by Sam Hasler, Transport, Logistics & Distribution Specialist at Pearson Whiffin RecruitmentNot quite the right role but still looking?Whether you are entry or Executive level, our team of experienced Recruitment specialists can help you with your career.
