This is a 1-year fixed term contract position within a close-knit legal audit team of four, operating as part of a larger in-house audit and risk function.
The role involves conducting audits on external panel law firms, reviewing clinical negligence and personal injury case files to assess risk and performance, and help make underwriting decisions.Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
We are seeking a qualified solicitor with:
- A minimum of 3 years’ PQE in clinical negligence claims work.
- Solid understanding of claims processes, risk assessment and civil procedure.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to review complex cases and provide clear, concise recommendations
- Exposure to commercial litigation
- Experience within a compliance, risk, or legal audit environment
- Salary £50,000-£60000.
- 5% completion bonus payable at the end of the 12-month contract.
- Hybrid working model: 2 days in South London office (Weds & Thurs) / 3 days working from home.
