Pay Rate: £180 – £250 per day (depending on experience and subject)

Whether your specialism is in Mathematics, English, Science, Humanities, or a specific vocational subject, we’d love to hear from you.Role Overview:
As a Subject Specialist, you will deliver high-quality lessons in your chosen subject, helping students to deepen their understanding and achieve academic success. You will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stages, tailor learning materials, and bring subject content to life.Responsibilities as a Subject Specialist:
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons within your specialist subject area.
  • Plan lessons and assess student work in line with curriculum expectations.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support where needed.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to departmental planning.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, participation, and classroom management.
Requirements for Subject Specialist:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Proven experience teaching your subject at secondary level.
  • Strong communication, subject knowledge, and behaviour management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
