We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and support modernizing our data infrastructure and building next-generation data warehouses.Corporate Areas: Player Sustainability, Finance, Legal, and RegulatoryAs a Senior Data Engineer, you'll design and deliver advanced data solutions that support our business objectives in Player Sustainability and Operational area. You will work with skilled data engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and optimization of our data systems.Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and support data-driven solutions by providing the necessary technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, documenting gaps in alignment with architects.
  • Create sophisticated reporting solutions that deliver compelling narratives and actionable insights, emphasizing performance, scalability, and the adoption of generative AI to enable intuitive self-service analytics.
  • Improve data engineering processes through automation, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing ETL/ELT flows to enhance efficiency and maintainability.
  • Initiate and experiment with new ideas and approaches that support the Analytics and Insights strategy.
  • Maintain and support data products, including on-call support and incident management, ensuring optimal long-term solutions by defining metrics and measurements.
  • Build strong relationships with your team and stakeholders, working in an Agile manner with transparent communication.
  • Collaborate on new data projects and initiatives early on, working across various technical teams and architects to drive these initiatives forward.
  • Participate in proof of concept (POC) evaluations of tools and technologies, presenting findings to support leadership in decision-making.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Strong data engineering background, with expertise in building AWS cloud data pipelines, data warehouses, and self-service solutions.
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3 and Redshift, focusing on data storage, computation, and security.
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI and AWS QuickSight.
  • Knowledge of open-source data stack tools (e.g., Airflow, DBT, Airbyte).
  • A solid understanding of software development best practices and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization.
  • Proficient in automation, testing, and CI/CD pipelines in data engineering.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making among all teams and stakeholders.
